We can now submit Traffic Management Plans (TMP) in the Canterbury and Christchurch City Council area!
Traffic Management & Control Ltd is now preparing and submitting Traffic Management Plans (TMP’s) in the Canterbury and Christchurch City Council area for local contractors, events and for the general public.
Our Team at Traffic Management & Control can prepare your Traffic Management Plan (TMP), design the site layout diagram as per Code of Practise for Temporary Traffic Management (COPTTM) with all your specific work activity information and obtain signed off approval from your Road Controlling Authority (State Highways – OPUS INTERNATIONAL & Local Roads – CHRISTCHURCH CITY COUNCIL)
The TMP is prepared by one of our qualified STMS (Site Traffic Management Supervisor) staff and once the TMP has been received back we will then forward the signed copy of the TMP along with the layout diagrams to your organisation.
Please note that if you are implementing the traffic management, your organisation will have to have a trained and qualified STMS appropriate to the level of road that you are working on (we can provide this Training).
We also provide a full service which includes complete site set up and management, trained traffic control labour and a full range of equipment hire (signs, cones & stands) as per the TMP.
Required Notice
Traffic Management PlansWe require 5 workings days’ notice in advance of your start date; this is to allow the road controlling authority enough time to sight and sign off the TMP. Please be advised however that due to the current circumstances in Christchurch there have been delays of up to 10 working days in receiving TMP's back for local roads in the Christchurch City Council area, so the earlier we can submit your plan, the better.
